INTERACTIVE MARKETING PLAN WORKSHOP SET FOR MARCH 24

Martinsville, VA (March 11, 2011) The Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation's Small, Minority & Entrepreneurial Division will host an Interactive Marketing Plan Workshop on March 24 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Uptown Southern Bistro located at 124 E. Main Street in Uptown Martinsville.

Sandra Tanner with the Virginia Tourism Corporation will lead the class and discuss the components and benefits of a successful marketing plan. The workshop will also allow participants to begin creating or refining their own individual plans, personalized for their respective business. They will leave with a draft of a focused, practical marketing plan that they are fully capable of implementing.

This training opportunity is part of the monthly Small Business Focus Group Meeting series offered by the EDC's Small, Minority & Entrepreneurial Division. This series is designed to provide entrepreneurs with technical training and business networking.
